Donice Davis and I have a Ricoma 1502 2-head commercial embroidery machine like this one for sale. It comes with:
2 sets of hoops for each head.
1 set specialty hoops for each head
Support table for embroidering heavy items
Patch making table thing
1 hat hooping station with two hat hoops for each embroidery head
Tool box
Instruction book
1 copy of Ricoma’s digitizing program called Chroma
A selection of 12 t-shirts, caps, and other items to practice on or sell
The machine has been consistently maintained by Marcus Kidwell of Sew Tech Texas in Lubbock.

Busy Bees Quality Embroidery will be opening at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 7 at 227 W. Berry in Hobbs. After that we will be back at regular business hours, 10:00-5:00 Tuesday-Friday, and Saturday 10:00-3:00.

We would like to thank our customers who have stuck with us during a very difficult and tumultuous 2024 as we grieved the loss of one family member in January and suffered the sudden and devastating loss of another in early December. We are genuinely grateful for the love, prayers, phone calls, and cards sent as we’ve grieved.

But….this is a new year and we have new things in store. We will be having a twice monthly sewing class beginning in February at the library in Eunice. Stand by for final details on that. For the kids that were involved in our July 2024 sewing camp at Lea County Center for the Arts, we will be having a 3-day refresher during spring break in Hobbs. We will be teaching another 1-week camp in July, and are also negotiating a possible sewing camp for adults in Hobbs. Combine those events with DIA Hobbs night markets this spring and summer as well as (possibly) our own art show, we will have a full year. And you are all definitely invited to join us!

We are so excited to bring our sewing classes to Eunice this upcoming year! These classes will be for adults only, so make sure you get registered!!

The Eunice Recreation Department will be hosting adult sewing classes at the Eunice Public Library after the holiday season. These classes will start out as basic classes and build as you go along. If you ever wanted to hem a pair of pants, repair a zipper, make your own clothing or whatever your heart desires, these classes will teach it. Come and see us Tuesday, November 19th to find out more.

Lea County Center for the Arts and Busy Bees Quality Embroidery are hosting the 2nd Annual embroidery show, “Enchanted Threads.”
The show features embroidery of all kinds and demonstrates the versatility of embroidery.
The center is open 1-5 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. New pieces will be added as the month progresses. Come in several times and see if you can figure out what is new. Correct answers will go into a drawing to be held at the end of the show. An embroidered prize is awaiting some lucky winner!
