The customer who ordered this suit is not wearing suits for work very often, but he's at a time in his life when lots of friends are tying the knot. Formal events require him to show up and he wants to look his best doing so.

Rather than a basic solid navy suit, which he has covered, he opted for a subtle, but special, something in the cloth- the dressy luster, a very fine herringbone in the weave, and peak lapels. Just enough diversion from the staple navy to be unique, elevated, sartorial, and understated but noticed.

From limited edition dream tweed cloth, we crafted this two piece suit.

True to our signature cut, it fits cleanly with the perfect amount of shape to look tailored but not exaggerated. The lines are defined without the jacket feeling rigid. The meticulous artisanship doesn't shout, but rests quietly, waiting to be discovered by the discerning eye.

This suit was such a pleasure to build. Though he only has eyes for unconventional cloth, this customer's understanding of color and texture always leads us toward fantastic cloth selections, and in-turn, amazing garments. Choosing a blue/grey blend can give you plenty of versatility while staying outside of the most conventional blue tones.

When you design from a strong individual vision, no one can replicate it. Being acknowledged for our unique American cut by The Bespoke Dudes was one of the great honors of my career because he recognized something in our work that has been one of our strongest motivations. Over the past 20 years I have pursued my own distinguished American tailoring expression. It's not nostalgic or regional, it's us!

A very warm congratulations to Paula Bruss and Dylan Lee!

I first met Dylan in LA while I was fitting his brother, Brandon, for the Met Gala last year. When he told me about his upcoming wedding, I knew we could craft something truly special for the event.

The groom and I shared a vision for a classic tuxedo that would set standards rather than imitate trends. We built a single breasted peak lapel tuxedo with lightweight English wool, pure silk grosgrain trims, and paired it with Italian Dobby cotton shirting.

For the prior evening's festivities, we opted for a double breasted suit with a less formal elegance. Using an English wool/ linen/ mohair cloth, the vision was wide peak lapels, patch pockets, and a roomier trouser silhouette. Our team, here in the shop, executed amazingly.

You need this. Not sure if it gets more lux than 100% cashmere for a knockout blazer. This deep brown is so sharp.
