Yesterday was a scary day with the fires in our area, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women who stepped up to help protect our community.

To the Hochatown Fire Department and everyone who assisted yesterday — THANK YOU! 🙏 Your bravery, hard work, and dedication do not go unnoticed. You put yourselves in harm’s way to help protect our homes, businesses, families, and this beautiful community we all love.

We felt like the least we could do was say THANK YOU over a warm breakfast! ❤️☕️🌯

Thank you Nick, a friend of our brand new photographer Jason Ward who purchased 3 candles today at Gallery 259👌
I hope they work great for you. It’s such a joy getting to show people local art and to now make candles for people

Jason was there right before his friend today and had no idea that he would be coming by. Then after Nick stepped out, 2 of Jason’s photos got delivered to our shop in crates!

Flowers & local river photography on postcards. (This collection turned out to be extra special to me because sunflowers remind me of my Dad, & the Petunias remind me of how we used to plant them every year in our flower bed).

Our new artist also has a collection of local, framed canvas photos, & a 20 x 40 picture on metal titled, “Mountain Fork River Reflections”. We’ve been getting wonderful feedback from our guests.

Artist Statement: “My background is I have been a photographer for nearly 55 years, staring out as a photojournalist at the Daily Oklahoman while in high school. I was the youngest photographer hired at a major newspaper in the country. About 15 years ago I started doing landscape photography. This has become more than a hobby for me as I travel the country capturing images”. -Cliff Traverse
