Sewing up some military masks today.
Happy Memorial Day.
Praying for those who lost family, friends, and loved ones. Memorial Day weekend is much more than a long weekend. Say a prayer or send a positive thought out today — there are families who can use them. ♥️

Mask #5,717! I literally can’t believe how quickly the world has changed. How quickly my daily life has changed.
This past week my body had to slow down — i fell behind on some orders (i apologize if you were one of them)— and now I’m ready to pick back up.
With things re-opening, I know masks are going to become a “new normal”. I don’t love the idea but I fully intend of having a variety so I can stay safe and protected.
So for now I will continue to sew - - but first coffee ☕️ ♥️

41 days. 3,841 masks.
Most days I feel like I’m in another universe. I lose track of what day it is and I never know the time. Sew. Coffee. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. That’s my daily routine.
It’s been 41 days since I’ve hugged my parents or my best friends. Today I really miss that. Today my heart is heavy. Thank you to those who continue to support this cause and journey. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay grateful.

Mask #2975 was made before ending my night ♥️. Continuing to stay positive. Continuing to stay motivated. There is a shirt people keep sending me pictures of that says “I became a mask maker because your life is worth my time”. That’s how I feel every morning when I wake up and start my daily batches of masks. These are going to help another person stay and feel safe and protected. I can’t stop thanking everyone who has helped cut, iron, donate, deliver, schedule pickups, send coffee, deliver flowers and the list goes on. You all know who you are and I am forever grateful for you. Together we will get through this.

Today I had someone reach out to me for masks. They lost their father during this and the service is tomorrow and they are required to wear masks. They are having 10 people at the service. This was one of the few times I have been emotional during this. My heart goes out to all of you who have are struggling on a level I know nothing about. My love and prayers continue to go to you and your families. This affects more people than we realize in more ways than we can comprehend.
Be kind. Be loving. Be patient. Be grateful. A lot of people are battling things you’ll never know especially during this.

I ended my night by sewing mask #1608. I went and got enough supplies yesterday (with my mask on) to hopefully last a couple of weeks. I want to continue to say how grateful I am for every person that has been able to help make this happen. It’s crazy to think this is really just beginning. I’ve only been sewing for two and half weeks. I continue to receive messages and have orders already up until the end of next week. People are being patient which I appreciate.
Today my mom and I discussed Easter dinner and thought maybe we would be able to eat outside at separate picnic tables in my backyard. As sad as I am that this is what is happening, I am grateful my parents walk to my house everyday to talk to me in the driveway. I’m grateful I might be able to have dinner together but separately with my parents for Easter. I am grateful I am healthy. I am grateful I have a purpose right now that is keeping me distracted and focused on things other than myself.
Continue to pray. Continue to stay inside. Continue to love each other. When this is over, I hope we all don’t take for granted the things we now can see that we were. I realize more and more how important it is for me to stay in the exact moment I’m in and just remain grateful.

Todays orders are being packaged to be picked up 🙏🏻♥️ Mask on!!!

04/04/2020
As of yesterday I have sewn over 1200 masks and the messages just continue to come in daily. It’s been a long 2 weeks for sure.
Yesterday my fear and anxiety got the best of me. The fear of not knowing what’s next and feeling like I wish I could do more than what I’m doing for the people who feel unprotected. I know the first responders are doing an amazing job. I think people are forgetting about the rest of the world who is still considered emergency personnel. ♥️🙏🏻 My fiancé and his family who run the best drain cleaning company. The cashier at the grocery store. The amazing workers at the post office that I see daily while I ship masks. The pregnant woman at Family Dollar who worked yesterday with no heat. The coffee makers. The cooks. And anyone else I forget. I see you. I pray for you. And I appreciate you every day for all you are doing during this pandemic.
Send out your prayers because they are needed right now.🙏🏻🙏🏻

808 masks. And a couple days ago a facility reached out asking me to donate 250 masks to protect their staff. It’s unbelievable that there are places that STILL don’t have the protection they need in order to properly do their job.
This pandemic is overwhelming. Every time I start to think outside the moment I’m in, I have to remind myself I am safe and I am okay. Sewing helps me stay in the moment. Sewing helps me stay grounded and it has a meditative quality to it that I greatly appreciate at times like these.
My gratitude towards every person that has donated supplies, money, and time to help me get these masks to the people who need them can’t possible be explained. So I’m just going to continue to say thank you. Stay safe. Stay healthy. ♥️♥️
03/29/2020
I am so incredibly grateful to be able to do something during the awful pandemic. Teamwork makes the dream work for sure in this house!!! Thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen for these first responders. ♥️♥️

Mask #500 and still going strong! Orders are ready for pickup today. Sending a huge shout out to all first responders who are coming to grab these after their long and stressful shifts to make sure themselves and their coworkers stay protected.
I can’t tell you how many nurses have messaged me over the past week. What they tell me is horrible. You think being locked inside is bad?! Try being on the front lines of this and not being protected. Pray for our first responders during this time. 🙏🏻 @ Holbrook, Massachusetts
