Another highlight from Nub Fest: realizing none of us had touched a shotgun in a while 😂

The three of us had spent our respective careers behind rifles and pistols, so getting back to sporting clays was a blast and definitely humbling.

We really enjoyed the Benelli USA shotguns. Lightweight, smooth actions, and a lot of fun to shoot.

A few misses, a little adjustment, and we got the hang of it again.

We won’t be competing in any s***t competitions anytime soon… we’ll leave it at that. 😂

Funny story about this logo.

I made it in August 2025 when I launched Grey Sector Training. The original goal was a training company focused on real-world civilian self-defense.

We’re still doing that today, but the apparel and social media side has grown into something I never expected.

I made a few shirts for myself, and then people started asking, “Where can I get one?” Isn’t that how it starts? 😂

Fast forward to today, numerous designs, products, and a community I’m incredibly grateful for.

Inventory is updated on the site. It’s not fully stocked right now, but there’s still some gear available. New stuff coming soon.

Appreciate the support as always. Grey Sector keeps moving. ♠️

I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with them over time, and I’ve really enjoyed working together.

We share a lot of the same ideas when it comes to training, and their passion for helping people get better is obvious.

Throwback to a good time at Nub Fest and the Trijicon booth. 🇺🇸

It was awesome getting to check out all the new optics and see the quality up close.

I’ve been running an MRO on my rifle since 2019 and have only changed the batteries twice. That kind of reliability speaks for itself.

I’ve always enjoyed Trijicon products and look forward to being a lifelong customer.

Yes, it’s silly and funny, but it teaches an important lesson.

The gun will fire from different positions and angles.

More importantly, your sight picture doesn’t always need to be perfect.

Back-plate shooting or using the frame of the optic as a reference can still get the job done.

With solid fundamentals, landing A-zone hits isn’t as hard as you might think.

Circling back to the warm-up from the other day.

After a couple hours on the range, I finished out my last few mags with some tempo work.

The goal was to speed things up while maintaining accuracy when working across the horizontal plane and transitioning between multiple targets, including small steel plates and silhouettes.

That Geissele Automatics trigger definitely makes it easy to send some rounds.
