People love to tell me AI is destroying the planet.

Meanwhile, the fantasy couture dress in this image—inspired by the breathtaking 2004 Christian Dior Haute Couture collection by John Galliano—would likely require:

👗 300–1,500 gallons of water
⚡ 150–600 kWh of energy
🪡 400–1,200 hours of human labor

I'm not saying AI has no environmental impact. I'm saying it's interesting which impacts we've normalized and which ones spark outrage.

Maybe the conversation should be bigger than just AI.
