In collaboration with The Bored Dependa we created a beauty sash. The sash is made of siapo over silk, bordered with a simple rope to complement the colors. We had some siapo left from last year; gifted to me by our Maiava family for my creations.

Because the siapo carries so much importance and the many stories of those that have put their time and efforts into creating it, we choose wisely on what we would do with the siapo. Our beautiful taimaita’i, Miley is able to keep this as a reminder that she is capable of doing anything she puts her mind to. The pageant was just the beginning of her journey to a successful blessed life.

Prepping and quality checking all of our runners for the pageant.

We chose this design to complement the Pageant’s theme. We used our most requested Elei pattern (Siapo pattern). We then bordered the table runner with the Manu or frigate bird motif which symbolizes the community.

She slay!

The suit that didn’t make the red carpet! More pictures to come, but these were too good not to share! Teamed up with Sam Su for Miley’s red carpet looks! After last year’s red carpet meet & greet with Mia, we had to get a suit for our beautiful Miley!

The suit is to show that our young women are professionals as well. To be in the public eye and to ensure that our young women are able to work with people outside of our culture, our girls must look the part! A little Samoan to the suit, matched with grace, poise, and elegance.

I, Sally Rodriguez, owner and founder of Manu Luxe Ink & Designs, want to say a massive thank you to everyone who made this experience possible for our beautiful Miley.

Miley had an amazing team behind her and, most importantly, her family by her side throughout this entire journey.

• To Tala: You did a phenomenal job preparing Miley for every category. She came out ready to shine and looked absolutely stunning in every single category.

• Sam Su You completely slayed her hair and makeup! That red carpet look was everything 😮‍💨 I honestly cannot wait to see more photos of her in that suit—you did THAT!!!

• To my team Queeny Donner Tee Rod You all are incredible. This was our first time attending the pageant together, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I love you guys so much.

Miley Semisi Fuamoli you put on a truly phenomenal performance. So often, people lose focus and only chase the crown. While a crown amplifies your platform, it’s how you conduct yourself that matters most. Continue to live your life authentically, with grace, and in service to others. We love you always!
