CJ Nelson's Parallax Plus is what he calls "one of the easiest boards to surf" — paddles great, turns on a dime, and keeps gliding on bumps that have basically stopped breaking. The Outlier X is for shortboarders who hate paddling: pinched rails, a 2+1 FCS setup you can run as a longboard fin, a thruster, or a twin-fin feel. Want the easy glide but also want to nose ride? The Chameleon does both — CJ calls it "quite possibly the most user-friendly longboard in the world today."

Full moon hit August 27. Box jellyfish are arriving on south shore beaches tomorrow — and they'll keep coming every single month, just like they have all year.

This is the 9th month in a row we've posted this warning. Whether it's January or September, the cycle doesn't stop.
