Julie started Hawaiian Island Arts in 1997.

Following many years selling various quilts, aloha wear, and Hawaiian accessories, Julie eventually created her own unique "Julie's Creations" quilt line. The design inspiration for her distinct handmade Hawaiian quilts, bedspreads, pillows, bags and accessories stems from Julie's passion as a lifelong photographer of the Hawaiian Islands and how she views this paradise through her photography. Originally located at the Aloha Tower, the business has been at the Royal Hawaiian Center since 2010.
