Conceived in 1964 but not released until 1981, was truly a wild format, where the movie discs were pressed using the same machines that made vinyl records (just with tooling differences), these things are getting harder and harder to find and unfortunately fell to other formats like and . RCA discontinued player manufacturing in 1984 and by 1986 discontinued the discs altogether. So come get you a copy of a movie from the crazy format wars of the 80s!
