Far too many girls, in an effort to gain the status of "dating", will do things they never thought they would. They conform to whatever it takes to " fit in" and attain some status of popularity with "friends"....
Sadly, many will ignore and reject everything they've been taught from the very people who love them the most for the affection of a boy who proclaims his "love" for them.
If you have to lower standards of purity....hide your faith....and change your Christian walk to be accepted by a boy.....he is not the one God has for you....
If a friendship only blossoms as a result of being anything less than your best for God, it is not true friendship....
True friendship.....true love pushes you towards God....Encourages you to have the right relationship with your parents...and respects your guidelines of purity.
Can I encourage you to consider a few things?
Ask God to give you discernment as you ask yourself the following questions....
1. Do my friends (boyfriend) encourage me to have respect for my parents and authority?
2. Do I have to go against God's word in order to "fit in"?
3. Do I have to compromise my standards of moral and pure living to make a boy like me?
4. Is my relationship with God better because of my friendship/relationship?
5. If God could speak audibly to me....would He give me His approval of my friendship/relationship and what I do and say when I am with them?
Can I encourage you to gain strength in the fact that you are a daughter of the King of Kings?
Live each day in the knowledge that you can walk, talk, dress, and live boldly as the daughter of the King.
You can take a stand!! You can make the difference in your world for Christ!

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
