I tried to make this combination happen last year, but unfortunately lost both my original Red Vein Dark Phoenix and the inflorescences on my Indo Devil x RVDP. The Indo Devil ended up getting set back hard (she’s 2-3x smaller before near death incident), but thankfully it has bounced back beautifully, and we now have a replacement Red Vein Dark Phoenix.
So we’re running it back.
The goal is to combine the shape, ruffling ears (lobes), bright red petioles, and long lasting red coloration of the Indo Devil with the texture, and depth, and saturation of the RVDP.
I’ve had a vision of this combo for a while, but this time I’m not rushing it. I want to take my time and see what we can really create.
Hopefully we can produce something that looks 😱🔥. Then 🔪 clone it, and trade clones to breeders across the US, then globally.
