Let today be a reminder to stay in the present moment.

Being a mom, having a full time private massage practice and trying to run a small business can be so arduous. It takes a lot of my energy to try and do everything. But while we're doing our best to make everything work, when we're overwhelmed, it's easy to fall back into our old self and feel like we're not good enough. We give so much of our energy away and in turn, we deplete ourselves because we feel like we have to do EVERYTHING! This is when the old hag- Anger, usually comes up and starts beating us down, and we start projecting to our kids and our partner, because we're tired and so we're triggered. This moment is usually my cue to start asking important questions:
How important is this?
Does this really matter?
What would you rather be doing right now?
What can you do to feel like your needs are being met?
What can you do to make yourself feel good?

Feeling good is my ultimate goal. That's when I know I'm in the present moment. Being in the present moment not only gives me the energy to create and manifest, I get to show up as a parent I want to be, loving and present.
