Life at home with three little ones is chaotic, stressful, and full of AMAZING moments like this.

I was trying to capture the pure joy and love between a mother and her child. This sketch will probably end in a digital illustration and coloring page.

Catholics always get asked what the deal is with Mary. Why do we love her so much? Because Jesus loved her first.

1 yr one month ago, I recived the first shipment of my books.

Over the next few days 250 of those 500 books were mailed out to all my awesome backers on kickstarter. Then I sat back and wondered what I would do with the other 250 books sitting in my closet. So I started an Etsy shop hoping to sell a few books and make some room in my closet. I had no idea how many people I would be able to reach through Etsy.

Now 1 year later, I've sold over 650 books and made 300 of those sales through Etsy. You never know what's possible till you try.

About two years ago I published "Aunt Nealy's House" on Amazon. I had always wanted to write/illustrate a childrens book but I had always talked myself out of finishing any projects because I didn't think I was "good enough yet". If it weren't for the motivation/guilting from my friend Nealy, I probably would have never published this book. This project gave me the courage to write/illustrate my second book which I published about a year ago. Now I'm working on illustrating a third book! This one I didn't write but was commissioned to do the artwork. I didn't plan for all this to happen, because I didn't think it was possible. I just actually, finally, did something. The success from this first book gave me the courage to try something else. I am so glad I put myself out there, and thankful for the 'push' from my friend.
