To My Wonderful Customers,
As I share this news, I find myself reflecting on the last eight years with so much gratitude. When I opened French Violet Boutique in 2017, I dreamed of creating more than a place to shop—I wanted a space where women could feel inspired, confident, and connected. Thanks to you, that dream became so much more than I ever imagined.
Your support—whether you stopped in regularly, shopped online, sent a friend, or simply cheered the boutique on—has meant the world to me. Every conversation, every try-on session, every moment of laughter in the fitting room, and every message asking about a new arrival has been a piece of the heart of this business. You helped turn a small idea into a community, and I will always be grateful for that.
After much thought, I have decided that French Violet Boutique will be closing this Spring. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it is the right one for me and my next chapter as an empty nester. While I’m excited for what’s ahead, I’m also deeply thankful for everything this boutique has brought into my life—most of all, the incredible women I’ve met along the way.
Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for supporting a small business. Thank you for making these past eight years full of creativity, connection, and joy. I will carry these memories with me forever. Thank you to my husband Allen for your support and encouragement and serving as my unpaid CFO. Thank you Allison Campbell for being my very first employee and my very last. You’ve been my cheerleader for 8 years and sincerely have loved French Violet as much as I have. To all my VIPs (you know who you are) I cannot thank you enough for not only shopping at the store but for pitching in when needed, offering advice, showing up at events and simply for making the days fun.
I hope to see you in the coming months as we wrap up this beautiful chapter together. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of French Violet Boutique. You helped make this dream real. 💜
With gratitude,Earlene
