President and Chief Executive Officer founded Poshak in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in August 1992, the boutique opened its door. After a successful first year of operation, Poshak began to broaden its portfolio of clients and expanded its Indian/Pakistani fashion presence. In 1996 the business started its overseas expansion by establishing the Poshak Fashion & Style in the United States. In 1996, Poshak opened the first Poshak Fashion & Style Inc. Store (Houston, TX, USA) followed the couple year with the opening of the new location of Poshak Fashion & Style Inc. The company also began to strengthen its commercial and marketing divisions, while building the values of its brands and the philosophy of management, which continue to be fundamental to the success of the business today. With endless possibilities, Houston location was relocated to the heart of Pakistani/Indian Community, HILCROFT in 2004. Sameera Faridi (Director/Designer) joined Poshak Fashion and Style in 2004 as a Director and Bridal wear Designer. After Completing her degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising . Her passion for travel helped her to pick up fashion trends from all over the globe. The new chapter in Sameera’s book started in January 2009 with the launch of her own label “S M COUTURE”. At our Design Studio we celebrate all that is glamorous. We have a design service which enables brides to incorporate their own ideas, choosing from a huge selection of types and colors of fabrics, many with crystal and diamante embellishments incorporating dabka work & traditional zardozi work.
