for those who don't know i am a q***r black woman and my girlfriend (and model for almost all of my product photos 🥰) is trans and frankly we're terrified by what this administration may bring. but in light of the awful election results i think it's extremely important that now, more than ever, we do what we can to support and love the marginalized communities who are going to be most affected by this administration. so with that in mind i'm going to be making a few trans pride items, including flower scrunchies like this one, and 20% of all proceeds will go to organizations and charities dedicated to supporting and protecting trans people 💙💗🤍

The outpouring of support I received yesterday and that I've seen my friends and other black business owners receive has my heart full to the brim!!! There are no words to express my immense gratitude! I don't want to make this too long winded because I have a lot of sewing to do, but just know that y'all make me so damn happy 😭🥺💖

✊🏾 Hello friends! ✊🏾
Long time no see, huh? I know I've been quiet on this account for awhile, but I couldn't stay quiet for much longer with everything going on. As a black woman in America seeing my brothers and sisters be brutalized and worse by the police has been heartbreaking and infuriating, but seeing the amount of support and love being shown to the black community recently has given me hope. It's also motivated me in a way I've never felt before! We are on the precipice of change and I want to do my part to push us forward! So to do that I am committing to donating a portion of all KieDesign sales to black lives matters organizations!
I know this account is small, but I also want to take this opportunity to share other black owned businesses! Please tag your favorite black owned businesses in the comments, as I will be sharing them all on my story!
