TESTIMONY Tuesday! This is MY TESTIMONY on OCTOBER 1, 2023 ONE ago year today. “GOD DID IT” I will give THANKS to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all YOUR wonderful deeds. I am glad & rejoice in you father, I will sing the praises of your Holy Mighty Name, O Most High for what you have done Lord. Psalms 9:1
On October 1, 2023, I had a stroke. Yes, I had a stroke on the left side of my brain which affected my entire right side of my body along with slurred speech. I woke up from a good night of rest, went to use the restroom, my balance was off. Right hand in a knot. Looked in the mirror , however my face was fine. Stood on the wall in my family room where my husband was to say “ I need to go to the hospital” my speech was slurred. He immediately said “what for, what’s wrong” when I tried walking to him it was clear that something was wrong. Headed to hospital, it was said that I had stroke like symptoms, they would tell me further after performing a MRI of the head. OMG…came back saying I had a stroke. Stood in the hospital for 5 days and from there straight to Rehabilitation for 3 weeks. I had to have Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapist, 3 times a day for the entire 3 weeks. I prayed, I prayed, I prayed, and I prayed while playing my praise music daily. I had to learn how to brush my teeth again, tie my shoes, comb my hair, cook etc. but I continued to pray knowing that God would showed up for me. I didn’t have a headache, no aches, no pains at all however my A1-C and my cholesterol levels were high and that was the cause. I’m now a diabetic, eating habits have now been changed. I say all of this to say, GOD is GOOD & ALL the TIME GOD is GOOD. I had to trust God along the way. Life is a journey that we walk by faith. When we put our trust in God, he will never disappoint. I don’t look like what I’ve been through. MY STORY is STILL BEING WRITTEN! # ButGod #🙏🏾
