Volunteer applications are officially LIVE for our upcoming Children’s Clothing Swap on Sunday, July 26th, and we are looking for 100 incredible changemakers to join the team!

The Houston Clothing Swap is BACK (this time Children's edition)!!!

Kids outgrow their clothes way too fast—so let’s refresh their wardrobes for the new school year without the massive retail price tag or the environmental impact 🌎♻️

Bring what you can, take what you need, and let’s keep great clothes in circulation!

📅 Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026
🕛 Time: 12PM – 4PM (No time slots this time!)

What to expect:
🛍️ UNLIMITED CLOTHES: Bring as many baby and children's sized clothes as you want, and take home as much as you need!
🚸 Ages: Clothes for ages 0–12 ONLY
🌈 Cost: $15 (+ taxes/fees) per adult

6.75 tons of clothing was saved from a landfill on Sunday

These clothes might have ended up in the trash, but have now found a new home instead!

This was only our fifth adult clothing swap of all time, and it was BY FAR our best one yet.

Hundreds of you left with bags full, wagons piled high, luggage stuffed, or even emptied out your bags to come back and fill up again!

And still, there was enough clothing left over to fill three SUVs full to go towards our nonprofit Conscious Consumer Collective.

Houston, you made clothing accessible for all, and you made it clear that a sustainable future IS possible.

That's the impact YOU made.

Here is how you can drop off your clothes early and fast-track your way straight to the racks!

✨While the main event is on Sunday, May 24th, dropping off your clothes in advance means you get to maximize your swapping time without the hassle of waiting in check-in lines the day of ✨

Here is everything you need to know about EARLY drop-off:

📍 WHERE: (2000 Edwards St, Unit 1, Houston, TX 77007)
📅 WHEN: Saturday, May 23rd
⏰TIME: 12–4PM (ONLY between these hours)

What to bring:

Clean clothes (on hangers or neatly packed in bags)
Extra hangers you don’t mind donating
Accessories: Jewelry, belts, hats, purses, and shoes!

🎟️ HOW TO GET THE SMOOTHEST ENTRY ON MAY 24TH:

1️⃣ Drop off early (on May 23rd) & Secure your ticket online in advance. On event day, just show your ticket at the door and go straight to swapping!

2️⃣ Ticket bought, but no early drop-off? No problem. You’ll be checked in and guided to the drop-off area where volunteers will sort your clothes before you enter the swap zone.

3️⃣ Doing it all the day of? Regular entry is always welcome! You can buy your ticket at the door and our amazing volunteers will sort your clothes. Please note: this option will involve a wait time.
