Summer sewing classes were a SUCCESS!!! I’m back to school now and juggling full time teaching, working part time at the ice rink, making dresses and working on other products for my online shop! I’m so excited!!!

This is my daughter’s senior year as well, sew I’m going to be busy busy!! It’s hard to believe she’s a senior. Omg! I keep going down memory lane and still picture her as that spunky little girl! ❤️❤️❤️ She’s who I do it all for!

We had a successful first mini-sewing workshop Monday and Tuesday! What a great experience it was for both student and teacher! I had the sweetest little 8 yr old girl! She was totally engaged in learning how to sew and took off like a pro! In two days she created a small reading pillow, a drawstring backpack, a pillowcase dress, an appliquéd T-shirt, a small purse, a pair of pajama pants and she started making a rag doll! She zipped through everything quickly and beautifully!
We learned parts of the machine and what they do, how to wind a bobbin, how to thread a machine. We practiced sewing straight and curved lines. We also did some sewing by hand. We sewed on some buttons, finished up closing a pillow and sewed a small appliqué on her purse.
I’m so proud of this sweet girl! We had a great time sewing and chatting. I can’t wait for the next session!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a few people inquire about an adult beginners sewing class. I’ve considered it, but must have 3 to form a class. If you or someone you know are interested, please fill out my survey. Once I have some information to use in creating my course, I will contact you. Just finished an amazing 4-day sewing workshop/camp with two of the sweetest girls! We had a great time! The girls went home with seven finished products!! We made a lined phone case/crossbody bag, a sleep mask, a reading pillow, an appliquéd T-shirt, a makeup bag, a drawstring backpack, and a beautiful dress!
I can’t wait for my new students in their mini-sewing workshop next week!!
