You can build and maintain a sustainable wardrobe without buying new stuff.
It's more about being intentional with your purchasing behaviors and the emotional/cultural connection you feel with the pieces you own.

A lot of marketing money goes into making us feel like we need to buy new things to be sustainable, but it's just not the case. If and when you need to replace an item, look for sustainable options, but keep your eyes open for quality construction with quality materials. You also want to make sure that you're *really* in love with any piece you're thinking to add to your collection. This will get you started on building your sustainable wardrobe.

Otherwise, your current wardrobe may just need some TLC and attention; mending and getting creative with existing pieces and/or being honest about pieces you just don't use and reselling/donating them.

Ahhh love these pieces from our Anya set! It was my first time ever adding a waist stay to a garment- the dress had quite some weight to it and it needed that support. And of course, it's wonderful getting to work with amazingly supportive models/friends .azia and (so grateful for how calming/helpful you both were that day in the midst of it all lol!).

The remaining fabric from making this dress was what I used to make the skirt counterpart in the Anya set (go back 3 posts to see!). This kind of tactic helps keep fabric waste down.

Sometimes, things in life are uncertain. With this uncertainty comes anxiety, stress, doubt... but, patience. All will come in good time! Breathe, pray, and let it have the space to do its thing. All we can do is our very best with what we can control. From there, things will fall in place 😌🙏

It's been so long- I hope you've been okay, and especially had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!

Felt it was about time I started posting here since I have a backlog of beautiful pictures. And especially since I have a new collection to share with you guys called Ula!

I was invited to show a part of my first collection at a private show back in September with Diego De La Cruz. And I got to work with the kindest and most wonderful models (Neima J Victor , Azia Armand , Cabiedes, Lowry) through Revalushion Management Agency. Behemoth's top was switched for another one for a different look for this show!
