My dad linked up with a new customer who was ready to move part of his personal collection. Most of the pairs were near deadstock and all size 12.

Nigel Sylvester really knows how to build culture brick after brick 🧱

The way he handled the NYC rollout for the Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” at Patsy’s Pizzeria felt genuine. He made the city feel involved. He showed love to the people who support him the most.

As somebody from Houston, I can’t help but feel salty watching it because we don’t really get that same energy from Travis Scott releases.

And before people get mad — I’m not saying Travis owes us meet & greets or giant events. Houston sneakerheads don’t even need all that. Just give the city a fair shot sometimes. Exclusive access. A reserve. Something for the hometown people who constantly support every drop.

Nigel’s marketing and storytelling are on another level right now. That “for the city” feeling matters. 🧱🌵

The AP x Swatch “Royal Pop” release might be one of the wildest examples of hype culture we’ve seen in a minute.

People camping for days.Mall pop-ups shutting down.Crowds getting belligerent.Police involved.And somehow Michael Beasley is outside calming people down over pocket watches 😭

And look… I actually think the watches are fire.But the reaction to this drop feels way bigger than the product itself.

Because if this was just a regular pocket watch with no AP branding attached…would people REALLY be acting like this?

Feels like nowadays people just want whatever the internet tells them is hype.

At some point we gotta reflect and ask ourselves:why are we crashing out over stuff like this?

Nigel Sylvester really might have another Sneaker of the Year contender with the Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” 😮‍💨🔥

The follow-up to the “Brick by Brick” Jordan 4 officially loaded onto SNKRS and the official images are CLEAN.

What’s weird is Nike usually drops pairs like this on the artist’s website first before SNKRS gets loaded up later… but this rollout feels different already 👀

The Travis Scott Pink Pack is easily one of the most interesting drops of the month to me.

The Tropical Pink pair with the red swoosh feels louder and more aggressive, while the Shy Pink pair with the sail/pink combo has a cleaner vibe. Either way, Travis and pink have always gone together perfectly, so seeing a full pink Travis finally happen feels crazy.

These honestly feel like the perfect his & hers release.

Sauce Walker came by our SneakerCon table looking for shoes and checking out the merch 👀

Then he hit the vendor next to us with:
“Do you wanna donate to me?” 😭

His whole pitch was:
“All businesses must advertise to make the inventory vaporize.” 😂🔥

The funniest part?
The vendor wasn’t going for it and Sauce ended up walking away empty handed 💀

Still a legendary moment getting to meet him up close at SneakerCon Houston 🤝
