I've made numerous quilts of all sizes ranging from placements through king size quilts. The majority of my work has been done for missions and are in various countries of the world. I answered a call for a local need in 2017 and made and distributed quilts for children displaced by Hurricane Harvey. My original crafting love was knitting and I made various knitted articles during my elementary an

d high school years. I still knit and have a stash of yarn ear-marked for various projects. Alongside my knitting journey I dabbled in crochet. While on a business trip in Michigan, I popped into JoAnns and saw a yarn that called my name and I answered by purchasing an afghan's worth of yarn and a double-strand crochet pattern book. I traveled with that project on many trips until it became too heavy to take along. Completed that afghan in March of 2015 and shipped it Canada to my aunt who was in hospital. The completion of that afghan ignited a crochet passion that continues to this day. As the projects are completed, I will post pictures and pattern information.

This mini crochet tote came off the hooks today. Made with 2 balls of Lion Brand Re-Spun in Evergreen and Aspen marled together.

4 strands were held together to get the firm structure. This yarn was frogged at least 30 times during the design process.đŸ˜‚Once the design was finalized, yarn chicken tried to get me, but I frogged, sized down, and here we are. đŸ§¶
