After a false start with some bad math (oops), I finally finished my tree skirt! With a week to spare 😮‍💨

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! I have moved and thus the shop has moved. This is very exciting for me as I'm now closer to my family. 🥳🥰

Thank you to the Howell and surrounding communities for supporting my small business this past year and a half. You gave me the courage to continue with a dream and passion! I'm excited to see how my business grows in the years to come.

I'm now very excited to be serving Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas. Currently, the shop is closed while I settle into my new space but will keep everyone updated as soon as I'm ready to open back up.

My sewing student wanted to make a duffle bag pattern for her next project. To make sure it was within her skill set I tried it out for myself (twist my arm 😉).

This is the Knot and Thread Mini Patchwork duffle. I LOVE how this one turned out and it was the perfect use for this adorable bee fabric I had! I might just need to make a million more 😍

I posted my cutesy first box for the Fairytale Forest sew along a few months ago. Well, I finally had time to finish the blocks in that first box! My blocks definitely need a good press before I sew them together. That will happen later as my space is somewhat small and it can be hard to store a very large in progress quilt!

The blocks can be a bit tedious and life has been busy this year so I’ve definitely fallen behind. I’m hopeful to catch up this month but have four boxes to do and another coming this week. Wish me luck! 😅🥰

A bride wanted this dress shortened for her engagement photos. This was an interesting project to work on because the scalloped hem meant I couldn't use a standard hemming method. Instead, I took off the whole bottom portion and shortened it from the top and reattached it! Phew, there were a lot of seams to pick with that one.
