Here is step one in cleaning a western wool pad. Remove hair, packed down dirt and debris. (this is pre-washed by the way!) can't wait to see how it turns out after it has been washed and hung to dry.

The question is usually "Can it be fixed?" And the answer is almost always "Yes", however sometimes I question "SHOULD it be fixed?"

This picture represents a blanket that I would consider "not worth the repair". There are times when a blanket comes through the shop and I believe it is not worth your hard earned money to fix. Because sometimes your money is better suited going into a new blanket then fixing one in bad shape.

Notes:
1. The outer shell is heavily sun bleached
2. The trim has dry rot
3. There are many small holes
4. The lining is ripped in very large sections
5. Multiple holes that go all the way through, meaning a double patch to a liner and shell

Conclusion: This would be very time consuming and very expensive to fix.

This client has a LeMieux saddle pad with a built-in half pad that was bunching. The inner foam was both too long and too wide for its compartment causing the bunching, this is a manufacturers issue. I took my time opening up three sections of stitching to access the compartment where the foam sits. The foam was then trimmed, reinserted and stitched. ✨ 🪄

Posted is the Pick-Up and Delivery schedule for all Drop-Off locations:

At the bottom of the page is the locations and circled in red are the day's I will be there to both pick up items and deliver items. As the timing of deliveries the day of can change due to barn pick-ups etc., I typically advise clients to pick up the following day, e.i. Saturdays.
