Can we talk about keepsake sewing for just a second (maybe longer)?
Keepsake Sewing is very commonly used to help remember a passed loved one. BUT...it can also be used to remember important moments and just help spread love.
Like these cuties!!! This bear was made from denim, but he's covered in handprints from grand babies. Grandma/Great Grandma (GG for short) lives 400 miles away. So all the grands and great grands made handprints on some white cotton. We then sewed them on our Joshi Bear pattern (it was enlarged to 30" tall to accommodate all the prints) before constructing. Now, GG can hug the cuddly bear anytime she misses the grands.
And this mouse! He's an adorable addition to represent the dancing character that gets passed back and forth in good morning messages and random pick-me-up moments.
