Week ✌🏻 of GRAVITY’s Next Chapter Series 📕
Could this be you?!
The answer is YES… and here’s why.
When I had this hair-brained idea to open Gravity in 2021, this is how much experience I had:
Started a business? 0️⃣
Creating an LLC? 0️⃣
Tax IDs & wholesale permits? 0️⃣
Accounting? Mostly 0️⃣
Vendor contacts? 0️⃣
Merchandising? 0️⃣
POS systems? 0️⃣
Tuxes, suits, formalwear… 0️⃣
Building a website? 0️⃣
Honestly… I just had an idea.
I didn’t start Gravity because I knew how to own a boutique. I started Gravity because I believed our community deserved one. 🥹
A place where MEN (from the start) could find great clothes without driving out of town. A place that felt welcoming, fun, and community-focused.
So I started asking questions.
I Googled… a lot.
I leaned on people (and still do) who had done it before.
I drank more Diet Coke than I’d like to admit. 🥤😂
I made mistakes.
I figured things out one step at a time.
And little by little, Gravity became what it is today.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t have to know everything before you begin. You just have to be willing to learn.
The good news? Whoever becomes Gravity’s next owner won’t be starting where I did.
The foundation is already built.
The brand is established.
The customer base is loyal.
The vendor relationships are in place.
The systems are set up.
The website is live.
The social media following is engaged.
You’ll have the opportunity to step into a business that’s already running—and I’ll help make the transition as smooth as possible.
So… could this be you?
My answer is yes. If you’re even thinking “Maybe?” I’m here to chat.
If you’ve ever dreamed about owning a boutique, starting a business, or becoming more involved in your community, I’d love to have a conversation.
Sometimes the best opportunities start with nothing more than a crazy idea 💡
