Spirit of Detroit Clothing Company is an effort to give back and support the young people of a great city. I am proud to be from the Detroit area for everything from the Model T to Motown. And especially for our sports. Joe Louis worked at Ford's River Rouge plant as a teenager and never backed down through 25 heavyweight title defenses. son, was born in Lansing and attended Michigan State. I grew up wearing black socks, baggy shorts, and talking trash in my driveway because Jalen Rose and the Fab 5 inspired me. Generations of kids were inspired by the toughness of the Bad Boys, of Izzo and Mateen, and the classy excellence of Barry Sanders, of Steve Yzerman. Sports have had a profound impact on my life. They have opened doors for me I could have never dreamed of, and taught me lessons I would have never learned without them. Detroit PAL is an essential organization to the city that needs our continued support. It is a non-profit serving 10,000 boys and girls through eleven different sports. Their mission is to build character in young people through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs. 100% of all profits will be donated to Detroit PAL. Joseph Ford Boylan
