We came for the happy hour, but honestly, Hell ’n Blazes is so much more than that.

Everyone knows their beer is good, but we think the atmosphere is just as good. The menu has a lot to love, from that delicious burger to the shish*to peppers that I seriously can’t wait to eat again.

We also love the game room in the back — it makes this such a fun spot to hang out, whether you’re grabbing drinks after work, meeting friends for a night out, or looking for a casual date-night spot.

And the building itself has some pretty cool history. The historic downtown Melbourne building dates back to 1898 and has had several lives over the years, including as a hardware store, bank, mortuary and farm supply store. Today, the original bank vault is part of the game room and social space.

We LOVE seeing more community events like this pop up around Brevard. 🙌

Especially as the weather starts cooling down, there’s just something about a night market — walking around outside, grabbing something from a food truck, and discovering local businesses you may have never found otherwise.

And the best part? You’re supporting the makers, bakers, crafters, food trucks and small business owners who are out there working hard and building their dreams right here in our community.

The new Hump Day Weekly Night Market is happening every first and third Wednesday from 4–8 PM at Sandhill Crane Park in West Melbourne.

📍 3053 Fell Rd., West Melbourne

They’re also currently accepting additional vendors — details are on the graphic!

Who’s checking this one out? 👇

We take our beach days pretty seriously around here. 🌊

For National Beach Day, we picked five Space Coast beaches for five very different kinds of beach days—from escaping everything at Playalinda to watching cruise ships at Jetty Park, grabbing food in Downtown Cocoa Beach, bringing your dog to Canova or keeping things simple at Spessard Holland South.

Are these the best beaches in Brevard? That sounds like an argument we’re not crazy enough to start. 😂 They’re just five local favorites we think are worth getting sand everywhere for.

Which one are you choosing—and what beach did we leave off?

We’ve driven by Tide & Tonic SO many times, and honestly… we wish we’d stopped sooner!

We finally checked it out and were seriously impressed. We tried the blackened chicken pasta, ribeye and several apps—and everything was really good!

Inside, you’ll find a trendy modern coastal vibe, plus a solid lineup of cocktails. And their $10 weekday lunch special with a fresh rotating menu? One of the best lunch deals in Brevard! Trust me!!

They even have live music every night of the week and a patio to enjoy it on!

Finding something the whole family actually wants to do gets a LOT harder once the kids become teenagers. 😂

But Revolution Adventures? Total win.

We spent the day trying everything from ATVs and jet skis to s***t shooting, axe throwing and archery—and several of them were firsts for our crew. Lots of laughs, a little competition, and one seriously fun family day!

I love that you can build your own adventure and pick the activities that sound the most fun for your crew.

Huge thanks to our champion partners at Norden Leacox Accident & Injury Law Norden Leacox Accident & Injury Law for helping us share another family favorite!

Yes, we know everyone is excited about Lynora’s — we are too! But there’s another Italian spot opening on a different side of town that we’ve definitely got our eye on too… 👀🍝

Pastaio is coming to Melbourne’s Suntree area!

They’ll be bringing fresh handmade pasta, handmade pizza, and craft cocktails to the Space Coast. They’re still under construction, but you know us… we can’t keep a good food secret. And this one looks absolutely delicious.

We regularly hear people say Brevard’s food scene is lacking, and with all these amazing new spots opening, we’re here to say… clearly, you’re wrong. 😂

More great restaurants. More variety. More reasons to eat local. We love seeing it.

They’re also hiring! Check out Pastaio’s website for details.

🍌 Follow Brevard Banana so you don’t miss the opening — we’ll keep you updated!

If you’re planning a Space Coast getaway, this is the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer. ✨

Mangrove Lofts at the Cape is a newer vacation stay in Cape Canaveral with the comfort of a home and the convenience of being right in the middle of everything. Think spacious living areas, full kitchens, modern design, and room to actually relax after a day of exploring.

And the location? Hard to beat. You’re minutes from Port Canaveral, just a short drive to Cocoa Beach, and perfectly situated for a cruise stay, beach weekend, or a few extra days discovering the Space Coast.

Whether you’re coming for the beaches, a cruise, or just want a more comfortable alternative to a traditional hotel, this one is worth knowing about. Space Coast Vacation Rentals

A big thank you to our community partner, Amanda McKnight, for helping us shine a light on great local stays and experiences right here on the Space Coast! ❤️

LOOK UP, BREVARD 🌕

Thursday night into early Friday morning, we’re getting a pretty impressive show in the sky. A deep partial lunar eclipse will be visible right here from the Space Coast, with about 93% of the Moon’s diameter immersed in Earth’s dark shadow at maximum. Most of the Moon can take on a dark reddish/orange appearance, so this one should look pretty close to a total lunar eclipse.

Here’s your Brevard viewing timeline (EDT):
9:23 PM Thursday: Penumbral eclipse begins. This first stage is subtle, so don’t expect anything dramatic right away.
10:33 PM: The partial eclipse begins and Earth’s dark shadow becomes clearly visible on the Moon.
12:12 AM Friday: MAXIMUM ECLIPSE. This is the time we’d make sure you’re outside.
1:51 AM: Partial eclipse ends.
3:01 AM: The final, subtle penumbral phase ends.
Where should you look? Around 10:30 PM, look toward the southeastern sky. As the night goes on, the Moon will move higher and farther south. At maximum around 12:12 AM, it will be roughly 48° above the horizon toward the south-southeast, so you won’t need to be at the beach or have a perfect horizon view — anywhere with a reasonably clear view of the sky should work.

And unlike a solar eclipse, you do NOT need eclipse glasses. It’s completely safe to watch with your eyes, binoculars or a telescope.

So basically: Thursday night, set an alarm for around midnight and look up. 🌕 If the clouds cooperate, Brevard should have a great view.

Who’s staying up for it?
