Tiling Scene for Any Occasion!

Tiling scenes are so impressive. Have you wished you could make one but felt like it was out of you reach? They look like a painting but they are actually 5″ x 7″ tiles you stitch out individually and then sew them together just like you would blocks for a quilt. Most tiling scenes have 32 tiles you would stitch out however, there are some with as little as 6 tiles. A tiling scene can feature two different looks: embroidery alone or with appliqué and there are so many to choose from.
This class series will get you started on hooping techniques and some great tips and tricks alone the way. There will be a lot of homework in-between because in Session 3, I will show you techniques on construction.
