And, the door is closed…

You have been incredible.

Two weeks ago, I was quietly taking action toward shutting down. Thanks to a few people asking, I said, “Yes, we’re closing.”, and it fast-tracked.

I saw hundreds of people, you shopped out the inventory, small businesses showed up to buy displays, racks, mannequins. So much stuff I just couldn’t imagine it being gone so fast.

It’s been a whirlwind. If you know me, you know that I would have liked to visit with you longer. Some days there were so many at once that I didn’t get to do that.

I made new friends! ❤️

I appreciate you!! I appreciate those you sent my way.

We did it! The space is empty except for a couple things that didn’t get out today.

Know that when I close that door tonight, I won’t be looking back. I’m excited for what is already in the works and for what is ahead.

Go. Shop. Local. Your business means more than you could ever imagine. I’ve shared many small businesses that I pray you too will support. They’re wonderful people.

So what now?

I’ll be dealing with some issues that are still lingering. Please pray for that.

I reckon I won’t be in the parades anymore unless my family decides we will just do an awesome float for the heck of it.😂

We will show up in ways we haven’t been able to for awhile. I’ll get to come shop with you!

I’ve got a second book that I need to edit for publishing. I have all kinds of thoughts for the next one. Trust me on that!

God is also leading me toward starting a new page that will be used to influence and bring praise to Him. If you’re interested in that, please stick around here for a little bit while I get that up and running and I’ll announce it.

Small businesses need to stick together. Reach out to them. Collaborate. You’re all in this together and it takes a village. If there’s one thing I would love to leave behind is the memory that I cared about other businesses and wasn’t part of the elbow race. There’s room for all and treat each other with kindness and respect. Share your customers - they appreciate you for it too. ❤️❤️
