Hey you! Yes YOU! 🫵🏽 Did you know Terri from .haynes.house.yarns wrote a book?! Did you know that they’re having a trunk show with us Saturday Nov 5th?? And did you know that Terri will be SIGNING her book AT THE TRUNK SHOW?!?!?!?!
I know…. All the awesomeness can be a lot to take in all at once, but don’t worry cause if you feel faint, there’s a lot of squishy yarn to catch you.
Come by the shop Saturday November 5th from 1-5pm, bring a project (or don’t!) and talk with Terri about her amazing and heartfelt new book (blurb below) as well as check out her beautiful new yarns and colorways 🥰🤗

Passages of Hope đź’«:

Gracie Kingston begins renovations on the Philadelphia house inherited from her grandmother and finds a secret room. It is connected to a house nearby, the home of William Still, the man known as the father of the Underground Railroad. As she researches, she discovers a mystery in her house’s ownership. In 1855, Olivia Kingston helps a mother and her young child by hiding them in a secret room in her home. As she helps, she learns that there may be an impostor conductor in their community. As Gracie’s and Olivia’s stories intertwine, they learn the meaning of sacrifice and love.

About Terri đź’«:
Terri J. Haynes, hailing from Baltimore, is a prolific knitter, owner of AT Haynes House Yarns, a hand-dyed yarn company, freelance graphic artist, former Army wife (left the Army, not the husband) and mother of three living outside Washington, DC.

Who is up for a book signing and trunk show?

My newest book is releasing in less than a week. I got to write about two subjects that are dear to me: the Underground Railroad and yarn. It's always cool when my worlds combine.

And I am so excited that they will combine again, but this time it's books and yarn. , my Hyattsville, MD LYS, is hosting me for a book signing and trunk show! Join me on November 5th, 1-5 pm. Not only will you be able to grab a copy of Passages of Hope, but I will have a custom colorway, too.

Sweep Pea Fiber is located at 5307 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville MD. . Free parking at the rear of the building. Also, stay tuned. There may be cake.

If you've already preorder your copy, bring it that day. I'll be glad to sign it. Hope to see you there.

We’re so excited about this!

Check out the AT Haynes House Yarns] both at the upcoming Frederick Fiber Fest to see the finished item and snag some yarn to make your own!

Posted • Millie Tansill Makes] Something exciting this way comes... I am very happy to announce that the talented AT Haynes House Yarns] agreed to collaborate in bringing this pattern to life! You all are going to love these colors, which should be shareable leading up to the Frederick Fiber Festival later this month. They have been so wonderful to combine in this TC cowl pattern. I'm so excited!

Hopefully I'll see some of my local yarnie friends there!
