Closing time at the Happy Little Quilt Shop. 🚙💤

Another day, another trunk full of fabric bolts I personally approved for quality. The people have been served. The inventory has been supervised. A star’s work is never done.

Loaded up for the ride home with my “manager” Oliver, who insists on wearing his scarf like he’s got a show at the Sands at 8pm. Buddy, we’re going to Imlay City, not Vegas — but sure, work the crowd from the crate if it makes you feel better.

But don’t get too comfy, Oliver, tomorrow’s a big one. It’s a 5th Saturday, which means 20% off for everyone who walks through that door. I fully expect a line before we even unlock. Rest up tonight, because tomorrow we work. 🐾💰

When your sewing machine sends an SOS… 🧵🆘

We didn’t stage this one — this is straight-up lint from a machine that hadn’t seen a cleaning in way too long. And yes, it spelled “HELP” almost on its own. 😅

Dust and lint build up inside your machine every time you sew, and it doesn’t just look gross — it can cause tension issues, skipped stitches, and extra wear on your motor. If it’s been a few months (or… longer 👀) since your machine had a proper cleaning, it’s probably trying to tell you something too.

Bring it in and let us listen for the HELP so you don’t have to find it in your bobbin case. 🧵✨
