The Marinello

08/31/2026

And just like that, our little Marinello shop has closed its doors and said goodbye. 🖤🤍

It has been a wonderful four years on the Square, and we have truly cherished every single moment. Having this space and sharing it with this community was an absolute blessing.

We invite everyone to stop by our Santa-Cali-Gon Days booths, set up right in front of our building, for our final sales event. We still have many incredible pieces available—including a few of our most popular finds, Kansas City favorites, and holiday items—all deeply discounted at 20% to 60% off. Please come by, say hello, and grab your favorites before they're gone for good!

As one chapter ends, another begins, and we couldn't be more thrilled for what’s coming next with Sentinel's Parlor Room. Construction is starting very soon, so keep an eye out for updates.

Thank you all so much for the unforgettable years of love, memories, and support!

After three incredible years of filling our little shop with treasures and memories, the time has come for us to say goodbye to the Marinello.

This journey has been nothing short of magical. From the day we first opened our doors to the present, your support has been the heartbeat of this space.

Whether you dropped in to shop for a unique locally made gift or stayed for a long chat, you made Marinello more than just a shop—you made it a community.

Come Say Hello Before We Say Goodbye, as we begin preparations to transition into the next phase for this space, we aren't closing our doors just yet! We invite you to stop by and visit us for a little while longer.

Final Treasures: We still have a beautiful selection of incredible items and unique gifts available for purchase.

If you’ve had your eye on something special lately, now is the time! This is your final opportunity to take a piece of the Marinello home with you.
To our wonderful Square community: Thank you!! Your encouragement and loyalty over the last three years have meant the world to our family. While this chapter is closing, we are buzzing with excitement for the next things to come and can't wait to share more with you soon.

With love and appreciation,
The Genslers

🎄✨ Independence Square LIVING WINDOWS - Friday, Dec 5th ✨🎄

If you hear screaming on the Square this Friday… don’t worry.

It’s just that one extremely excited elf who discovered The Marinello’s holiday window display and is now fully feral with Christmas spirit.

(We tried telling him the window doesn’t open from the outside… he’s unconvinced.)

😂🧝‍♂️💚

The official Living Windows event runs 6–8 PM, but The Sentinel Room and The Marinello will be open from 3pm –12am, ready to keep the holiday magic going long before, and long after, the elves calm down.

🍸 The Sentinel Room will be serving our full holiday collection of festive cocktails,
🧀 a special holiday charcuterie board,
🔥 and our amazing flatbreads to keep you warm as you wander the Square.

🎁 And inside The Marinello, you’ll find unique gifts and stocking stuffers you haven’t found anywhere else, the kind that make people say, “Where did you GET this?” instead of the usual polite smile.

PLUS - 102.1 FM will be broadcasting LIVE from The Marinello window during the event, so stop by and say hi…
(or press your face to the glass dramatically if you want to stay on theme).
