What do I love? Making clothing with interesting silhouettes and textures!
Apparently not color!
I jest. While much of my sewing for myself is monochromatic, I love a strong silhouette- ruching, poofy sleeves, tall collars, buttoning up the front or back, massive collars and ruffles, hyper-feminine or historically masculine, all are fun and different.

I love adding historical fashion details to clothing designs, and if that's just your style too, I'm happy to design and create something beautiful for you.

Hatpin Peril Pals are coming soon! If you've ever wanted a tiny man to hang impaled from your hatpins, they're almost here! I have handmade these guys every step of the way, from sculpting to painting. Contact me to commission a specific Peril Pal, or to reserve one!

I have two vintage parasols ready for restoration this winter! The below pics are of the antique parasol I restored for myself: removing rust and re-enameling the ribs, replacing the shaft, and recovering it with a beautiful lilac silk taffeta and black lace canopy, lining with rose pink silk habotai.

Of the two I'll be working on, one needs less work, and has a lovely brass rose handle, and the other needs a new handle and shaft. If you're interested in commissioning a parasol, now is the time! Canopy color and design, shaft length (longer shafts are characteristic of late Victorian and early Edwardian parasols), handle, tassels, etc are all customizable options if you're looking for the perfect parasol to complete a gorgeous outfit.
