One of the most important parts of lobster season isn’t filling your bag—it’s making sure every lobster is legal before it goes home. We always double-check our catch because protecting the fishery starts with responsible divers.

The Alligator Reef Lighthouse is one of the most iconic offshore landmarks in the Florida Keys, located about four and a half miles east of Islamorada. Standing 136 feet tall, this black-and-white iron skeletal tower presides over a vibrant Sanctuary Preservation Area that is widely considered a premier destination for snorkeling, diving, and boating.

Double the red grouper, double the excitement! 🔥🐟

We put two different baits to the test, and both got the job done!

🎣 Grouper #1 crushed an Armored Shrimp.
🐟 Grouper #2 couldn’t resist a live pinfish.

Sometimes it’s all about putting the right bait in front of the right fish. Watching these big reds come up from the depths never gets old!

One minute you're hunting the reef, the next you're sharing the water with one of the Gulf's most incredible creatures.

While diving off the coast of Clearwater, Florida, I looked up from the bottom and found myself swimming alongside a spotted eagle ray gliding effortlessly through the blue. Their white-spotted wings and graceful movement make it feel less like watching a fish and more like witnessing something fly underwater.

These rays are commonly found throughout Florida's Gulf waters and can often be seen cruising over reefs, sand flats, and ledges in search of shellfish and crustaceans. They move with a calm confidence that's impossible to forget.
Moments like this are why we dive.
