One of my goals this year was to get more involved locally, not just by showing up to events, but by actually meeting new people instead of hiding away in my little hermit cave.
So when I was asked to be a judge for Last Shot at Chreece, I was genuinely excited. I’ve been attending Chreece for years, so being able to contribute in a small way felt really special. It was inspiring to see so much local talent and creative energy.
It’s also a reminder that networking doesn’t have to feel forced—it can actually be fun. This year I’ve stepped outside my comfort zone, built more confidence, and I’ve genuinely been enjoying connecting with people in my city.
