How do you celebrate a birthday, the first Colts WIN of the season, TWO incredible canonizations and the most gorgeous weekend of the year in Indiana? By doing All. The. Things!
First, to celebrate SAINT Pier Giorgio Frassati, we went on a hike that turned into its own adventure of getting lost and finding the trail again with a couple of hangry kids 😆 isn’t that the spiritual life, though??
Second, we watched the Colts game and napped on and off through our first WIN in a minute!
Then, we played some extra Nintendo as a family in honor of SAINT Carlo, had some cake,
And FINALLY we watched the replay of the canonization while the kids made Elisabeth Lego bday flowers and ate pizza!
When we visited Carlo’s tomb in April, we brought with him an intention of bringing another beautiful child into the world. It had been a little bit of a journey over the past 2 years and we still weren’t pregnant. When we brought this intention to then Blessed Carlo, we felt an immediate peace and sensed the laughter of a child. An IMMENSE confidence in our God that Carlo lent to us in the waiting. What a joy to feel a new life kicking around as we celebrate this new Saint! We love Saint Pier Giorgio so much but we felt so close to Saint Carlo on this day! We are so excited to continue to walk with them both along the way. Thank you God for this little life and please pray for us as we prepare for a new arrival in early 2026!
