Some events are about sales. This one was about people.

Seeing repeat customers come back year after year, hearing how much my work has meant to them, making new friends and connections, catching up with old friends, and creating new memories... that’s what I’ll remember most.

My shop may be in Indy now, but a big part of my heart will always be in Chicago. Thank you for continuing to show me so much love. ❤️

Chicago never disappoints. 🔥

The Silver Room Block Party was everything—good vibes, incredible music, beautiful people, and that energy you can only get in Chicago. From the DJs keeping the crowd moving to everyone stopping by the booth and showing love, it was one of those days that reminds me why I keep coming back.

Thank you to everyone who supported ROCKaBLOCK, grabbed a shirt, shared a conversation, or just showed love. Chicago… y’all always make it feel like home. Until next time. ❤️🙌

The customer wasn’t happy… so I gave them a full refund. 💯
They returned the shirts, and instead of letting them go to waste, I reclaimed them and gave them a new life.

This one stopped me in my tracks.

This week, Sibeko Jywanza posted these photos from Ghana wearing the Freedom Fighters shirt. Standing alongside portraits of Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Marcus Garvey, and other leaders whose ideas helped shape the Black experience around the world.

As an artist, you create something and hope it resonates. You never imagine it might one day make its way across an ocean and be photographed in a place where that history is still being honored and remembered.

Moments like this remind me that these stories belong to all of us.
