From the Feywild specializes in handcrafted fantasy-inspired clothing and accessories. Our sizing is designed to be inclusive, with skirts that go up to a 70" waistband (and can easily be drafted larger if necessary). We are personally familiar with how dif

ficult it is to find unique, fun clothing in larger sizes, so one of our primary goals with our own clothing line is to do better than industry standard. From the Feywild also enthusiastically welcomes the gender nonconforming/nonbinary and transgender communities. Whatever your body type, gender identity, or gender expression, From the Feywild is here to meet your needs! If something from our standard stable of designs isn't what you're looking for, please contact us to inquire about custom work. From the Feywild is owned and operated from Indianapolis, Indiana. We have been in business since 2017, and are often seen at gaming conventions, Pagan festivals, and many other events where our fellow nerds and fans of whimsy meet. Since the pandemic began, our focus has shifted exclusively to online-only events and transactions. We do look forward to seeing everyone in person again, but only once it is safe to do so. A bit about the artist:
Katt Hawthorne has always loved making things with her hands. Now she has over 20 years of experience using cloth, yarn, metal, and other materials to be creative. This experience has given her high standards for quality, to which she strives to hold herself. These efforts have been well-received by her customers, who have never rated her products at anything below five stars. Knowing how to play with shapes, color, spacing, and other design elements is a skill applicable to any creative medium, and that insight has served her well as the artist behind From the Feywild. You can find From the Feywild on Etsy, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Patreon, or by visiting fromthefeywild.com.

For what it's worth.

If you support citizens being summarily ex*cuted by SS cosplayers, you are not American, and you are not welcome to interact with my business. My art is not for you.

My grandparents and my husband's grandfather (WWII vets all), my Papa (Iraq War vet), and my many veteran friends, did not fight for our freedom so that *this* could be the state of the world now.

If you support *any part of any of this*, shame on you. Be a better person.

I'll be back there as a vendor on Sunday, and I'll have new things I've never had out at events before! As well as some lovely skirts that are still looking for homes. Think of them like kittens that I'm trying to adopt out, except they have pockets and don't require feeding.

Our Story

I have always loved making things with my hands. When I was seven years old, I started sewing for the first time. I now have over 20 years of experience creating clothing, accessories, jewelry, and various other crafts. This experience has in turn given me high standards for quality, and I strive to hold myself to those standards. My formal education is in web and graphic design. Knowing how to play with shapes, color, spacing, and other design elements is a skill applicable to any creative medium, and that insight has served me well. Platyfly Studios specializes in affordable handcrafted goods for the whimsical and mischievous. Mythpunks, cosplayers, reenactors, Pagans, and other fans of fantastical or quirky styles will find just what they are looking for. This store is also an ideal place for the gender nonconforming/nonbinary and transgender communities, whose members often have difficulty finding quality off-the-rack clothing that fits properly. P.S. - What the heck is a "platyfly" anyway? A platyfly is, most simply, a platypus with butterfly wings. But more specifically, it comes from my personal affinity for the platypus, and my aunt's tendency to call me Butterfly. It is a reminder to dream big, because anything is possible. Additional services: - Custom corsets - SpiritHoods liner swaps and other alterations - Made-to-order sewing, jewelry, and knit projects - Wedding attire - Gender nonconforming/nonbinary clothing - Specialty custom work for transgender clients Platyfly Studios is supported and encouraged by many enthusiastic and generous people.
