Your sense of smell can become up to 100× more sensitive during pregnancy. ONE HUNDRED TIMES.
That’s why suddenly everything smells stronger — coffee, perfume, food cooking… even things across the room! And for some Moms, craving certain smells during pregnancy happens because of this same phenomenon.
Many scientists think it’s your body’s built-in way of protecting baby by helping you avoid spoiled food or harmful toxins.. Our bodies are SO amazing!

During pregnancy, a mama’s brain actually rewires itself. Studies show certain areas of the brain shrink slightly, but not in a bad way. It’s your body remodeling and fine-tuning itself to become more emotionally aware, intuitive, and responsive to your baby. It’s one of the most dramatic brain transformations a human experiences (right up there with puberty!).

So if you’re feeling more emotional, more connected, or just different lately… you’re not imagining it. Your brain is literally upgrading for motherhood!! 🧠✨

Some of the sweetest moments happen before you ever hold your baby!
Getting to watch families see their little one yawn, stretch, or suck their thumb for the very first time never gets old for me. It’s such an honor to be invited into those moments and I love it agan and again!
