I was recently tagged for by Sage with Sage Knits. She’s an awesome fiber artist and a fellow Iowa girl. Yay for Midwestern makers!
As for me, my hubby was gone on a boys trip so I spent my weekend home alone and enjoyed lots of knitting and catching up on episodes of my favorite chick show Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. 💁🏼‍♀️ I was able to finish up this “Mommy and Me” set and I’m so happy with how they turned out. But I have been super busy knitting up your custom orders, working on a new design, planning a collaboration and future give-away, and setting my goals and vision for 515knits. Sometimes, only sometimes, you should take a look back just to see how far you’ve come. I’m proud to say that this hat I made for my niece almost 2 years ago is in great shape. However, I can’t say the same for this poor fur ball. At least I can say I have stepped up my pom-pom game significantly! ➰🖤🤘🏻

As I reflect on the past year of this crazy little thing called 515knits, I found my most popular pics of 2017. It was a great year of growth...I attended a successful and fabulous local Market, opened up this page, celebrated 1 year on Instagram, and knitted more than ever. Thank you to all my friends, family and followers, old and new. I look forward to creating and making in 2018. ➰🖤🤘🏻
