Shabby Chicnanigans Although our Lowell doors have closed, we hope to continue offering fun, whimsical items in our new northern location of Interlochen.

We are still searching for the right retail opportunity... I enjoy recycling, reusing and recreating things from the past. We have become such a "disposable society" - I enjoy rescuing treasures from the past that can be given new life - either as they were originally intended or in a new way. I also welcome any questions or comments and would be happy to discuss "custom" projects you might have!

A lengthy, but rewarding project. A vintage apartment-size or narrow-style Hoosier kitchen cabinet (or "half-Hoosier"), popular in the 1920s to 1930s. An upper storage cabinet, a tambour roll-top door, and a porcelain enamel pull-out work surface.

Door joints all re-glued. Casters re-installed. K***s replaced. Rolling door repaired. Added a touch of whimsical, gingham contact paper. And repainted!!

This charming cabinet is SHABULOUS now! Ready to be listed on Marketplace.
