Prudie Taylor remembers her grandmother teaching her the Blanket stitch on a pot holder when she was 4 years old. Never one for idle hands, she took that lesson and has enjoyed many aspects of sewing from embroidery and needlepoint to making her own clothes. In 1984, she took a quilting class while serving in the Navy. This involved ripping the fabric on the grain and making all of her own templates. After a 20 year hiatus while raising 3 active children, she returned to a quilt class and found a lot had changed. But when a friend took her to her first Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx class, a spark ignited. Nearly 40 quilts later, and as a Certified Instructor, Prudie guides quilters from novice to experienced to gain confidence in learning new techniques and completing the beautiful patterns designed by Judy Niemeyer and her team.

Class size is limited to offer individual attention. Stop into the shop or call us at 603-253-4026 to reserve your spot. Upon registration, participants will receive a supply list and precutting instructions.

Good Morning!!! Need help with a technique in a Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx pattern? I'll be at The Cotton Cupboard Quilt Shop in Bangor Maine on Saturday Oct 20 from 1-4 for a open sew. Bring in a project you are working on or get help cutting out the Poinsettia project I will be teaching on October 27. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon!

We are SOOO Excited to announce...the new Technique of the Month! This quilt is called Dinner Plate Dahlia! Queen is 99" x 99", Wall is 80" x 80", the pattern publishes January 1st, 2019. It will not be available in Quiltster to consumers until January 1st. Certified Shops and Instructors can help you with workshops, planning, ask them about kits, and any other details over the coming months! I'll be sharing the official cover samples over the coming weeks! There's 7 wall quilts and 7 queen quilts that will be official samples. The first is a Queen Size quilt out of an upcoming collection from Quiltworx.com called Montana Sapphire!

Well the time has come. I have started to pass out my new business cards that say " Like me on facebook". I better put something on facebook. And if you know me, I love to talk about my kids but not about promoting myself. So here goes. I love to quilt. And I'd love to pass on the passion. I am in the process of becoming certified to teach the patterns designed by Judy Neimeyer at Quiltworx. I am available to teach at quilt shops, for guilds or retreats.
