👩‍⚕️ About the Event:
For the first time, the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center is hosting healthcare enrollment events just for women Veterans! Our all-women outreach and enrollment team will be there to answer your questions, explain your options, and help you access the benefits and care you’ve earned.

Thanks to the PACT Act (2022), VA healthcare eligibility has expanded—so if you were previously denied or aren’t sure if you qualify, now’s the time to check. New benefits include:
• Free hearing aids and eyeglasses
• Lower-cost healthcare
• Affordable medication co-pays (as low as $8, capped at $33 monthly)
• Some Veterans may pay nothing at all
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who Can Attend:
All women Veterans and their families are welcome! We’ll have free on-site childcare, so you can focus on enrollment and exploring your benefits.

• Last year’s income information
• Marriage date (if married)
• Birthdates & Social Security numbers for any dependents

Attention Veterans — You Might Be Eligible for VA Health Care Now!

Have you ever been told you don’t qualify for VA health care? That may have changed. The PACT Act has expanded who’s eligible, so even if you were denied before, you might now qualify for benefits you didn’t know you could get.

Meet with our Outreach & Enrollment Team, get your questions answered, and — if you’re eligible — sign up for VA health care right on the spot.
