Office Visits: Today was a good day.
First time having stop by Students HQ in Costa Mesa. Alex and Michael share a history that runs deep, built through more than two decades in apparel, design, and culture.
To still see the two creating, kicking and pushing forward after 20+ years in this industry is a journey in itself. Many have stepped away, but for them, the love has always been found somewhere in the process. The two has accomplished collaborations like Vans, The Northface, Timberland, Asics, Reebok, Prince, Timex and many more.
Over 20 years ago, they helped spark a movement that changed the way people dressed, introducing what the world would come to know as the “Jogger Pant.” Trends come and go, and while most of us probably aren’t reaching for joggers the same way anymore, that moment represents something bigger: an idea that traveled, influenced culture, and became a part of fashion history.
Alex continued to build his own path, creating the streetwear mainstay , while Michael continued his journey through apparel and eventually into the world of golf with Students.
Different timelines. Different paths. Same foundation.
Now, the two find themselves connected deeper than friends and brothers through golf, carrying the same curiosity that started everything years ago.
Excited to see what the future holds for both brands.
