✨ One of the best discoveries of our buying trip!

Yesterday we found Young Threads, a beautiful line that immediately reminded me of Sacred Threads, but with a more elevated, romantic feel.

Natural colors, muted tones, beautiful textures and wonderfully made garments from India.

As I was telling the owner how long I've worked with Sacred Threads and how much we will miss them, I discovered something amazing... He's Shri'ram's cousin!

The two companies have worked with many of the same designers and, until recently, even shipped from the same warehouse in Alachua.

What a small world!

The trade shows in Las Vegas are enormous, but the world of truly talented, quality designers is surprisingly small.

One of the things that makes buying for Lion's Lair so much fun is that we shop with our hands.

Texture matters.

This year, fashion is embracing texture and shimmer, and we are absolutely here for it!

Origami is one of our favorite lines because of its romantic, boho spirit and beautifully tactile fabrics. We loved what we saw so much that we're having them custom create three collections just for Lion's Lair, each with its own color story, prints, textures and fabrics.

Their stories have inspired new products, better fits, stronger partnerships, and a boutique dedicated to helping every woman feel comfortable and confident.

Did you know we recommend rotating 5 to 6 everyday bras whenever possible? Wearing the same bra every day causes the elastic to wear out faster because it never has a chance to recover.

Sometimes saying goodbye is the hardest part.

For more than 25 years, we've been proud to carry clothing from Sacred Threads, a wonderful company based just down the road in Alachua, Florida.

I had the privilege of working first with the founder and later with his son, Shri'ram. Together they built a brand known for beautiful craftsmanship, vibrant colors, whimsical details, and effortless Florida style.

As a fellow small business owner, I've seen firsthand how rising costs have affected independent retailers and manufacturers. Sacred Threads, whose beautiful garments are made in India, has faced tremendous challenges in recent years. Sadly, they've made the difficult decision to close their business.

Watching a family business close is heartbreaking, especially one that has been part of Lion's Lair for so many years.

Their final collection is, in my opinion, one of the strongest they've ever created. I've purchased as much as I could, but once these pieces are gone, there won't be another opportunity.

If Sacred Threads has been part of your wardrobe over the years, I hope you'll stop in to see this final collection and help us celebrate an incredible company that brought joy, color, and artistry to so many women.
