Welcome to Carolina Perez Designs
I spent the first part of my life with my Grandma in Venezuela, and thanks to her I love to sew. I went to school for Fashion Designs in Caracas and while living there I was designing and creating evening gowns. I moved to Ithaca to be closer to my Mom and opened a small boutique on the Ithaca Commons where I was making and selling one of a kind designs for 3 year

s, I was also selling at local festivals and at the Ithaca Farmers Market. I now only sell my line of men's cut Hawaiian shirts, women's & kid's clothing, unisex aprons and accessories on Etsy and on weekends at the Ithaca Farmers Market. I love to create, it is my passion and the biggest gratification is to see people wear my creations or buy them as gifts and be so excited, that is priceless... I won’t be at the Ithaca Farmers Market this weekend, but I’ll be back next weekend!

Sometimes changing one fabric changes the whole bag 🍄🌻❤️

This popped up in my memories today… and the timing honestly made me laugh 😂 I filmed this in 2023, talking about my feed bag totes, pricing my handmade work, and reminding myself that I can’t let one person’s opinion determine what my work is worth. Apparently, I needed to hear this again 😔❤️

If you’re a maker, have you ever had a customer make you question your pricing?

Anyway, I’ll be making a small batch of these sustainable bags for this weekend’s market. They may not be my favorite thing to sew 🧵 🪡 but they’re definitely loved by some😂❤️
