🌸 Monday Devotional | Where Does My Help Come From? 🌸
“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1–2 🤍
What a beautiful reminder to start a new week: we were never meant to carry everything on our own.
There will be days when we feel tired. Days when the responsibilities pile up, our minds won’t stop racing, and we wonder how we’re going to handle one more thing.
Psalm 121 tells us where to look.
⬆️ Look UP.
Our help doesn’t come from having everything figured out.
It doesn’t come from controlling every circumstance.
It doesn’t come from our own strength.
✨ Our help comes from the Lord.
And the beautiful part? The One helping us is the same God who made heaven and earth. He doesn’t sleep. He doesn’t become distracted. He doesn’t lose sight of us.
“The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:8
Whatever this week holds, God is already there. 🌿
So when worry starts creeping in, lift your eyes.
When you feel overwhelmed, lift your eyes.
When you don’t know what comes next, lift your eyes.
You have a Keeper who never sleeps and a Father who never stops watching over you. 💗
🙏 Monday Prayer:
Lord, when I’m tempted to rely on myself, remind me to look to You. Help me trust that You are watching over every detail of my life. Give me peace for today and faith for whatever comes tomorrow. Amen.
🌸 My help comes from the LORD. 🌸
