Class of ‘30 Madison Mustang quarterzip for an incoming freshman.
These have been one of my biggest sellers for years.
As I packaged this up for sweet Caroline, what’s been building up inside of me personally came to a head.
I started Gaggle and Thread 16 years ago. It allowed me to be home with my young children (hence the name) to be fully present.
The baby of the gaggle is now a senior. She’s at cheer camp. Her last cheer camp. Class of 2027.
Where does this leave me now? Once this year is gone? What’s my role? I wouldn’t say I lost myself in this humbling blessed role as their mother but it’s been my focus. Where does this leave Gaggle and Thread now?
I honestly don’t know. I’ve been seeking God. For direction. What will you have me do now? What’s my ministry now that this home based ministry is closing to an end? To serve my family and others through the gifts and talents you gave me?
I didn’t think senior year for my youngest would be so hard. We just went through it with Morgan. This first child, our 31 year old son, leaving home felt like I was grieving a death. I thought it prepared me. It does! But it’s different each time.
So, long post for a quarterzip! But Gaggle and Thread has been personal to me. Not a retirement plan.
